Signing into the CIS Portal
I can’t sign into the CIS Portal. What should I do?
- For Primary Contacts: Try resetting your password first. If you don’t receive the reset email or still can’t access your account, contact us.
- For other users: If you believe you have an account, try resetting your password. If you’re unsure of your access, contact your organization’s Primary Contact for confirmation.
- If you are trying to access your account for the first time, and your account activation email has expired, ask your Primary Contact to resend the activation email.
What should I do if the Password Reset isn’t working?
- Confirm the password reset email is less than 5 days old (reset links expire after 5 days).
- If the reset link is valid but still doesn’t work, or if you’re not receiving the email, contact us.
- If you’re unsure whether you have an active account, reach out to your Primary Contact for confirmation.
Why am I being asked for a One-Time Password (OTP) during login?
An OTP setup is mandatory during your first login. If you encounter issues, follow these steps:
- Click Forgot Password from the login screen and enter the email associated with your account.
- Follow the link in the reset email to set up your account.
- Add an identity authenticator and scan the QR code provided to generate a one-time code.
- Enter the code and create a new password.
- Sign in using your new credentials.
What is MFA and how do I reset it?
MFA (multi-factor authentication) is a procedure that reconfigures the One-Time Password (OTP) method or authenticator, enforcing an additional layer of verification prior to portal access. Upon successful submission of user credentials at the authentication entry point, the portal initiates a push notification to the member’s designated MFA solution (e.g., OKTA), prompting a secondary validation step to ensure secure access.
For security purpose, please contact us to reset your MFA.
